HOAs: A Modern Scam That Must Be Dismantled
There was a time when Homeowners Associations were marketed as a way to “maintain neighborhood standards” and “preserve property values.” That promise has long since rotted. In truth, HOAs have become private tyrannies—unaccountable boards acting as mini-governments, lording over hardworking families, charging exorbitant fees, enforcing petty rules, and even stealing homes from those who fail to comply.
The National Socialist American Party stands firmly against this corrupt system. We call for the immediate abolition of HOAs and a full return of property rights to the hands of the people. A man’s home is his castle—not a bureaucrat’s playground.
What Went Wrong?
Originally, HOAs were created as cooperative neighborhood agreements. Today, they’ve been weaponized into legal rackets. Here are the core problems:
1. Financial Extortion
HOA dues have skyrocketed in recent years, with some families being forced to pay thousands of dollars annually just to exist in their own homes. Miss a payment, and you’re hit with fines. Miss too many, and your home can be taken from you. Foreclosed—not by the state—but by a private board of neighbors playing king.
2. Petty Tyranny
You left your trash can out too long? That’s a fine. Your grass is half an inch too tall? Another fine. Your truck is parked in your own driveway? Expect a letter. These rules are enforced not with common sense, but with cold bureaucracy. People are being harassed for living normally.
3. No Representation, No Oversight
Most HOA boards are unelected cliques. Many homeowners don’t even attend meetings—until it’s too late. These boards can raise fees, impose new restrictions, and spend community money with little to no oversight. It’s taxation without representation, plain and simple.
4. Foreclosures for Pocket Change
There are countless stories of families losing their homes over tiny debts to HOAs. A $300 fee ballooned into a $10,000 legal nightmare. In one infamous case, a home was seized and auctioned off for less than $5. This is legalized theft.

Meet Mike, a Working-Class Homeowner
and the HOA President, Deborah
Mike:
“Deborah, I’m not paying a $250 fine because my kid left a bicycle on the front lawn overnight. Are you serious?”
Deborah (HOA President):
“The community voted to enforce aesthetic standards, Mike. Your negligence affects everyone’s property value.”
Mike:
“I’ve lived here 15 years. I keep my place clean. One night with a bike in the yard and you’re threatening liens on my house?”
Deborah:
“It’s not personal. It’s policy.”
Mike:
“Exactly the problem. You hide behind rules you wrote yourself. You people collect fees, enforce nonsense, and bully families who are just trying to live.”
Deborah:
“You agreed to the HOA when you moved in.”
Mike:
“No. I signed under pressure because I needed a home. That paper doesn’t give you the right to run a dictatorship.”
The Party Stance
We will abolish Homeowners Associations nationwide. No American family should fear losing their home over a minor dispute with a power-tripping board of paper pushers. We believe in true property ownership—free of outside interference. Here’s our pledge:
- All HOA enforcement authority shall be nullified. No private entity will hold dominion over American homes.
- Homeowner debt to HOAs will be forgiven and expunged. No liens. No lawsuits. Total relief.
- All HOA land, assets, and reserves will be returned to the homeowners as communal property, under public oversight.
- All HOA contracts and covenants will be reviewed, invalidated, and banned from future property transactions.
Why This Matters
We are in a national crisis—financially, culturally, and spiritually. The average family is already under assault from inflation, taxes, and degenerate policies. They should not also be under siege from the very neighborhood they call home.
The abolition of HOAs is a moral imperative. It restores sanity. It returns power to the people. And it defends the sacred right of ownership, which no piece of paper, board meeting, or petty tyrant should be able to strip away.
